Medicare requires an in-date referral to be able to claim the Medicare rebate.

Referrals are valid for 12 months, please check with reception when your referral expires.

This includes Department of Veterans' Affairs & Workers Compensation patients.

While we endeavour to send SMS reminders for expiring referrals,

it is also the patient's responsibility to ensure they have a current GP referral.

This will vary depending on medications, the duration between appointments

& authority scripts. There may be a fee for scripts outside of an appointment.

All authority scripts must be collected from our centre.

Please note most of our doctors do operate with us part-time

and may not be able to produce prescriptions within 7 days.

We advise contacting your GP as well for assistance with medications.
